A free, public newsroom for the aftermarket automotive industry.
What PistonsPR is
PistonsPR collects press releases from aftermarket automotive manufacturers and brands in one place, organized by category and brand, so editors, retailers, installers and enthusiasts can see what's new. Every release has its own permanent link you can share. There are no accounts and no paywall.
What we publish
- Product launches and updates for aftermarket parts, accessories, tools, fluids and equipment
- Company news: acquisitions, new distribution, leadership, facilities, partnerships and programs
- Event announcements and results from trade shows and industry events, including SEMA
- Awards, sponsorships and racing or build-program announcements from aftermarket companies
What we don't publish
- Releases not about the automotive aftermarket, or ads written as news
- Content you don't have the right to distribute, or photos you don't have rights to use
- Releases stuffed with links, or written mainly to place links
- Anything misleading, unlawful or offensive
How submitting works
1. Fill out the submission form with your release, photos and contact. 2. Our editors review it, usually within one business day. 3. When it is approved, it goes live with its own link, and we email you that link.
You can set a future publish date for embargoed announcements. We may edit for clarity, formatting or to fit a category, and we may decline a release without explanation.
Photos
Upload JPG, PNG or WebP images, at least 1200 pixels wide if possible. By submitting you confirm you may distribute them with the release.
Releases we republish
To make PistonsPR useful from day one, our editors also republish releases that companies have already issued publicly, always attributed to the company and linked to the original. If you represent a company and want a release edited or removed, email pistonsandink@gmail.com and we'll take care of it promptly.
