Ariel Brings UK-Built Performance Car Range to United States

SOMERSET, ENGLAND — Ariel Motor Company is expanding its American presence through a new exclusive U.S. distribution arrangement with Forman Motorworks of Scottsdale, Arizona. The partnership now brings U.S. customers the full range of Ariel's latest UK factory-built models, with Forman Motorworks serving as the exclusive U.S. customer contact.

U.S. customers can now access the UK-spec rolling chassis for the Atom 4, the higher-performance 400 bhp Atom 4R, and the ultimate motorsport-focused Atom 4RR, featuring a bespoke hand-built 525 bhp engine. Customers with access to gravel roads, desert, and off-road trails can order the Ariel Nomad 2, which excels on- or off-pavement.

The enhanced direct-supply of UK-built models marks a new chapter for Ariel in the United States, replacing the previous licensed U.S. manufacturing program. In addition to providing a direct link to the UK factory, Forman Motorworks will also oversee parts, servicing, and maintenance through select support sites in strategic U.S. locations.

Forman Motorworks' relationship with Ariel dates to January 2009, when founder Franz Forman became the first U.S. Ariel dealer. The Scottsdale-based business has since sold more than 200 new and pre-owned Ariel vehicles, building extensive product knowledge and experience across the country.
