Auto Metal Direct Becomes Official Restoration Parts Partner of NFI Empire's Project REBORN, Supporting The Brett Boyer Foundation

Restoring American Heritage: Auto Metal Direct Helps Bring Project REBORN Back to Life

NORTH EAST, PA — NFI Empire has named Auto Metal Direct the official restoration parts partner for Project REBORN-001, a 1979 Chevrolet K30 crew cab build that will be auctioned at The Red Bird Games in Brentwood, Tennessee, with proceeds benefiting The Brett Boyer Foundation. The project pairs the classic square body truck with a contemporary GMC Sierra 3500 frame and Duramax diesel running gear. AMD has donated a broad package of restoration components for the build, including fenders and inner fenders, bed panels and cross sills, inner rear wheel wells, bumpers, grille and moldings, door hinges, rocker panels, radiator support parts and sill plates. The donation also covers a clear glass kit, sequential LED tail lamps, a tailgate assembly, a weatherstrip kit and a large master body hardware kit. Representatives for both companies framed the partnership as a way to preserve an iconic American truck while raising awareness and funding for congenital heart disease research and support for families, and for the Down syndrome community.
