Volvo approves Continental EcoContact 7S as original equipment for new EX60; efficiency-optimized summer tire with aerodynamic sidewall design and reduced rolling noise
HANOVER, GERMANY — Continental received original-equipment approval for the fully electric Volvo EX60 with its EcoContact 7 S summer tire in 235/55 R20 front and 255/50 R20 rear sizes, both with an integrated rim protector. Continental described the tire as designed for low rolling resistance, high mileage and low rolling noise, with emphasis on wet grip and handling, Aerodimples in the sidewall to reduce air turbulence, and an EV-compatible sidewall marking.
