Hot Shot’s Secret™ Introduces Next Generation Diesel Exhaust Fluid - Ultra Premium DEF™

Cleans and prevents crystal buildup, restores performance, clears fault codes

MT. GILEAD, OH, UNITED STATES — Hot Shot's Secret, the performance chemical brand owned by Lubrication Specialties, has introduced Ultra Premium DEF, a next-generation diesel exhaust fluid built on the company's patent-pending Premium DEFender additive technology.

Unlike commodity DEF, the new fluid is formulated to stabilize the fluid, help clean the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system, and protect it against urea crystal buildup -- the contamination that commonly triggers fault codes, downtime, and expensive repairs. When used as directed, the company says it can clear many common DEF and SCR trouble codes, including P20EE, P20EF, P204F, P207F, P20E8, and P218F.

Ultra Premium DEF is certified by the American Petroleum Institute and is recommended for any diesel vehicle or equipment equipped with an SCR system, from pickups and vans to semi-trucks, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and industrial applications. It is made with high-grade synthetic urea and is triple-filtered for purity.

Hot Shot's Secret brand manager Josh Steinmetz described the launch as a deliberate move away from commodity products, while Lubrication Specialties president Brett Tennar pointed to the company's broader diesel expertise as the foundation for the product. The first rollout is planned for O'Reilly Auto Parts stores nationwide, with full line details available at hotshotsecret.com and through the company's 800.341.6516 line.
