KUMHO TIRE U.S.A. CELEBRATES SUCCESSFUL 2026 OFF-ROAD RACING SEASON

ATLANTA — Kumho Tire U.S.A. announced a victorious return to off-road racing in the 2026 season, with its three sponsored drivers taking multiple class podium and first-place finishes while racing on Kumho Road Venture MT71 mud-terrain tires.
Mark Duval (#4810) won first place in the 4800 Class of the Valley Off Road Racing Association (VORRA) Season Championship after winning every race in the four-event series, completing the season without a single puncture of a Kumho tire. Stephen "Woody" Rose Jr. (#22) became the Ultra4 Western Regional Series Champion in the 4800 Class, and Eric Wikle (#406) captured first place in the Rock800: Legends class at the 2026 Casey Folks Vegas to Reno race over the 505-mile Nevada desert course.
Kumho CEO Ed Cho said the company is extremely proud of its drivers' success, calling it a testament to the strength and performance of the Road Venture MT71, and said product insights from these races will be integrated into the next generation of all-terrain tires. The MT71 is built for rugged performance for racers and everyday drivers, with increased block stiffness for on and off-road handling, a high-void tread pattern with a zig-zag and dual-pitch design for off-road traction, and mud and stone ejector bars between the shoulder lugs.
