SUBARU ANNOUNCES PRICING FOR 2027 CROSSTREK

New Hybrid Onyx expands the Crosstrek hybrid lineup for 2027; Hybrid models deliver 194 total system horsepower and up to 1,000 km of range; Standard Subaru Symmetrical Full-Time All-Wheel Drive across the model line; Six-trim lineup starts at $30,695

MISSISSAUGA, ONT., OCT. 13, 2026 /CNW/ — Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) today announced pricing for the 2027 Crosstrek. The new model year expands the Crosstrek hybrid lineup with the addition of the Hybrid Onyx, creating a new entry point to Subaru's hybrid system while preserving the all-road, all-weather capability that has long defined the Crosstrek.

For 2027, the Crosstrek is offered in six trim levels: Convenience, Touring, Onyx, Hybrid Onyx, Limited and Hybrid Limited. Gasoline-powered models feature the 180-horsepower 2.5-litre SUBARU BOXER engine, while Hybrid Onyx and Hybrid Limited models produce 194 total system horsepower from Subaru's series-parallel hybrid system. Subaru Symmetrical Full-Time All-Wheel Drive remains standard across the lineup.

New for 2027, the Hybrid Onyx is priced at $36,995, $1,600 above the gasoline-powered Onyx, and brings Subaru's next-generation hybrid system to a more accessible trim level. The series-parallel system combines a 2.5-litre SUBARU BOXER engine with an electric motor generator, electric traction motor, Hybrid Lineartronic CVT and 1.1-kWh lithium-ion battery. Producing 194 total system horsepower, the Hybrid Onyx delivers added power and improved fuel efficiency. Equipped with a 63-litre fuel tank, the hybrid system gives 2027 Crosstrek hybrid models up to 1,000 kilometres of driving range on a single tank.

Pricing: Convenience $30,695; Touring $33,895; Onyx $35,395; Hybrid Onyx $36,995; Limited $38,495; Hybrid Limited $40,495. Other 2027 model-year changes include an improved wireless smartphone charger, HYBRID badging in place of the previous e-BOXER badging, and a new Sand Dune Pearl color available on select trims for an additional $300.
