HayesX will unveil the HayesX-250, an electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft, at the 2026 SEMA Show. Often referred to as a flying car, it bridges the automotive and aviation worlds and is designed to comply with US FAA Part 103 ultralight regulations, so no pilot license is required.

Safety features include a Formula 1-inspired protective roll cage, aviation-grade materials, multiple layers of system redundancy and a whole-aircraft parachute system.
