CHANGAN Showcases Efficient Powertrains and Intelligent Safety at Mondial de l'Auto 2026

PARIS — Changan Automobile presented its electrified powertrain, battery safety and driver assistance technology at Mondial de l'Auto 2026 in Paris under its In Europe, For Europe positioning. Highlights included BlueCore Ultra Hybrid, the Golden Shield Battery with round-the-clock digital battery management monitoring, and SDA Pilot driver assistance. The CS55 BlueCore HEV made its first appearance outside China, with a hybrid architecture integrating engine, electric drive, battery and intelligent controls, using adaptive energy management and cloud-based route planning, prioritising electric drive in urban traffic and efficient engine direct drive at higher speeds. Plug-in hybrid models on display were presented as offering electric urban use with hybrid range for longer trips.
