The head is a fully CNC-ported evolution of the company's long-running Performer 50169 casting, with 144cc intake ports, 77cc exhaust ports, and 55cc combustion chambers machined for maximum airflow. Its valve job is optimized for COMP Cams valves and valvetrain components, which opens up a wider range of valve spring and camshaft combinations for engine builders. Construction features ductile iron valve seats and manganese bronze valve guides, with an emphasis on valve seat concentricity for secure sealing, reduced leak-down, and higher cylinder pressure.
