Klipboard Launches Autowork for Independent Auto Repair Shops

New cloud-native platform brings shop operations together, with practical AI built in and access to a wider range of connected Klipboard automotive solutions as businesses grow

From Klipboard

CARY, N.C. — Klipboard has launched Autowork, a cloud native and AI native shop management platform aimed at independent, single location auto repair shops, service centres and tire businesses in North America. The system brings appointments, repair orders, customers, vehicles, parts, inventory, tires and invoicing into one place, reducing reliance on separate disconnected tools. Its parts catalogue is built into the platform, with tire lookup, quoting and fitted pricing included, so fitment and pricing remain inside the same workflow. An AI assisted scheduling feature is designed to spot suitable appointment opportunities without staff manually working through the diary, with further AI features planned. Klipboard says Autowork draws on its enterprise Autowork One platform, used by large tire and service networks, reshaped for the needs of a single shop. Businesses can start with core operations and later add connected Klipboard services such as e-commerce and payments as they grow. The company says the platform is available now and is designed to be straightforward to set up, learn and use.
