Mitchell 1 Wins PTEN Innovation Award for Digital Vehicle Inspections Product

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. — Mitchell 1 has won a 2026 Professional Tool and Equipment News Innovation Award for its digital vehicle inspections product, originally launched as Manager SE Inspections and now part of the OneFlow Estimating and Inspections experience. The tool lets shops run multi point inspections using customisable templates, capturing photos, videos, notes and recommendations in real time during the inspection. Results move directly into the Manager SE shop management system, where findings are turned into detailed, priced estimates. Customers can then review and approve that work through a secure portal on a mobile device or computer. Mitchell 1 says the aim is to keep inspections organised, speed up estimating and communicate more clearly with customers about recommended repairs. The PTEN awards are judged by a panel of technicians and shop owners and recognise products that respond creatively to repair industry challenges.
