NOW SHIPPING - PROCHARGER P-1R: 1,200+ HP CAPABILITY IN P-1X PACKAGING

ProCharger has released the P-1R, a new centrifugal supercharger rated to support more than 1,200 horsepower while keeping the same external dimensions as the P-1X. Maximum airflow climbs from 1,275 CFM on the P-1X to 1,600 CFM, and maximum rated boost rises from 32 to 36 psi, while the 4.10:1 internal step-up ratio, 9-inch volute, and 65,000-rpm maximum impeller speed carry over unchanged. Because the exterior packaging is identical, the P-1R drops into existing P-series brackets, intercoolers, and charge piping without refabrication. The company positions it for street and street/strip builders who have outgrown the P-1X, noting it can be slowed with a larger pulley for pump-gas street duty or spun up on E85 with supporting fuel and tuning for track use. Real-world results cited include 1,084.3 engine-dyno horsepower from a Scoggin Dickey Parts Center combination. The P-1R is shipping now as an upgrade choice on new Tuner Kits, offered in the same finishes as the P-1X at a modest premium, with individual head units available through the ProCharger sales team.
