ODYSSEY(R) Battery Joins NFI Empire's Project REBORN, Providing Premium Battery Technology to Support The Brett Boyer Foundation

NORTH EAST, PA — NFI Empire announced that ODYSSEY Battery has joined Project REBORN-001 as a technology partner, supplying premium batteries for a custom truck build headed to auction at The Red Bird Games in Brentwood, Tennessee, to benefit The Brett Boyer Foundation. The project transforms a 1979 Chevrolet K30 crew cab with a modern GMC Sierra 3500 frame, Duramax diesel drivetrain, updated suspension and modern amenities, and it requires dependable starting and deep-cycle power for its extensive modifications. EnerSys, which manufactures ODYSSEY batteries through EnerSys Energy Products Inc., equipped the truck with a selection of its premium batteries chosen for cranking power, deep-cycle capability and reliability. The build is also slated for a SEMA appearance, and the partners said progress updates will continue as the auction approaches.
