Twelve Builds. One Bold Finale. 2027 Jeep® Wrangler Switchback Completes the Twelve 4 Twelve Series

Final Twelve 4 Twelve build pairs contrasting hoods and doors, Gecko accents and bright beadlock rings on the Rubicon X

AUBURN HILLS, MICH. — Jeep has closed out its yearlong Twelve 4 Twelve series with the 2027 Wrangler Switchback, the twelfth and final special build marking 85 years of the brand. Based on the Wrangler Rubicon X in two-door and four-door form, Switchback treats Wrangler as a building kit, deliberately mixing contrasting hoods and doors across complementary Gloss Black and Sting-Gray configurations so each vehicle looks like siblings that swapped parts. Gecko returns as an accent rather than a body color, appearing on the grille surround, hood graphic, swing-gate decal and what Jeep calls the first production bright-colored beadlock wheel rings, with a Gecko finish developed specifically for the ring. Inside, Global Black and Sea Salt Nappa leather, Pearl and Lime stitching, a debossed Switchback seat logo and blueprint-style swing-gate plaque carry the mix-and-match theme through the cabin. Orders open in November. The Switchback package is priced at $2,870, putting MSRP at $66,695 for the two-door and $69,995 for the four-door, including destination.
