Stinger Introduces HORIZON XTR a First-of-Its-Kind Multi-Function Display (MFD) for UTVs
New UTV MFD technology to be showcased on Polaris and Can-Am UTV builds on SEMA show floor. A derivative of Stinger’s HORIZON Series technology is available on a variety of Jeep, trucks, and other popular vehicles
ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. — St. Petersburg, Fla. – Oct. 26, 2026 – Stinger is expanding its HORIZON multi-function display (MFD) lineup into the powersports market with HORIZON XTR, a 10.1-inch display developed specifically for utility terrain vehicles (UTVs). Available to order in Q4 2026 for select Polaris and Can-Am applications, HORIZON XTR combines an OEM-style fit and finish with direct integration into the vehicle’s CAN bus network, bringing infotainment, vehicle data, audio and accessory controls together in one integrated system.
Developed by Stinger and UTV Stereo, HORIZON XTR builds on the success of Stinger’s HORIZON series. Designed for the demands of off-road use, HORIZON XTR brings this vehicle-specific integration approach to UTVs with a purpose-built display, custom dash plastics and dedicated plug-and-play installation solutions.

Designed for a Direct-Fit, Plug-and-Play Installation
HORIZON XTR was engineered with both professional installers and DIY enthusiasts in mind. Vehicle-specific harnesses, custom dash components and direct CAN bus connectivity are designed to simplify installation while maintaining a clean, factory-style finish.

Direct CAN bus Integration: Communicates with supported factory vehicle systems to access available vehicle data and functions.
Vehicle-Specific Wiring Harnesses: Dedicated adapters connect the display to compatible factory wiring, reducing the need for wire splicing or custom electrical modifications.
Custom Dash Plastics and Corrosion Resistant Steel Mounting Components: Vehicle-specific bezels, brackets and housings are designed to fit the intended application with little to no vehicle modification.

HORIZON XTR Featured in Three UTV Builds at SEMA
HORIZON XTR will be featured across three Polaris and Can-Am builds at the 2026 SEMA Show, demonstrating how the display integrates with complete off-road audio and lighting systems.
2026 Polaris RZR Pro S
The RZR Pro S features the 10.1-inch HORIZON XTR display alongside a Stage 6 stereo system and Stinger’s HEXCORE off-road lighting. The build demonstrates how infotainment, audio and lighting can come together in a vehicle-specific package designed for off-road use.
2024 Polaris Xpedition
Equipped with HORIZON XTR, the Polaris Xpedition features a four-amplifier, six-speaker audio system with dual 15-inch subwoofers in a vented enclosure. HEXCORE lighting completes the build, while HORIZON XTR serves as the central interface for supported infotainment and vehicle functions.
2024 Can-Am Maverick R
The Can-Am Maverick R features a complete audio system incorporating Elite and Signature series components, including speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers alongside HEXCORE off-road lighting. The build showcases how integrated infotainment can complement a fully equipped off-road audio and lighting setup.
